I am really excited about the posibilities of this album. In my opinion, Israel Houghton and New Breed are much better together, than they are apart.

They are releasing a book entitled "Sexperiment". This book is meant to encourage open discussion about sex among married couples. Ed and Lisa Young strongly believe that sex in marriage should be a priority. 

It is easy to view this whole sexperiment on the church's roof as a publicity stunt to sell more books. Let's face it, this is a publicity stunt. However, I believe that this will actually end up helping a lot of people. 

The sexperiment will be streamed on their book website. During that time, viewers will see Ed & Lisa Young in a bed fielding questions about sexual intimacy in marriage. Questions will be taken in person, over Skype, on Twitter, and on Facebook. The program will begin at 5 AM on Friday January, 13.

The singer and TV show host has been the face of the Word Network since 2006. Her TV show "The Lexi Show" has been a real bright spot for many Word Network viewers since its inception. 

Lexi's last CD, "What Heaven Hears", was released in 2007. Other than hosting a talk show, she has spent the last few years making appearances on "Lift Every Voice", "Bobby Jones Gospel" and the "Yolanda Adams Morning Show".

Fortunately, we will not have to wait much longer to hear Lexi's latest music. Her new CD entitled, "Phenomenal", will be released sometime in the Spring or Summer of 2012.

Arthur Pearson, pastor of Pilgrim Rest Baptist Church in Grand Rapids, MI has been charged with embezzling money from his own church.

An audit shows that Pearson, along with his wife the church's former bookkeeper stole more than $230,000 from the congregation. Some of the transactions show that purchases were made from places like Red Lobster, Victoria's Secret and Forever 21.

This whole situation has divided the church. There are many people in the congregation that believe that Pastor Pearson is innocent. Whether he is innocent or guilty will likely be the decided of a jury of his peers.

Someone will need to explain why a church is making purchases at Victoria's Secret and some of those other locations. 

There are many ways that someone can spin these allegations. However, it just never looks good when a Pastor is accused of embezzling funds. Unbelievers will point to this situation and say "look, all pastors are crooks." The truth is that there are many pastors and churches that are faithful in managing the money that God has given them in responsible ways.

If these allegations are true, it is important to note that pastors like Pastor Pearson are the minority, they are not a representation of the thousands of faithful pastors around the country.  

Haggard will be trading spouses on “Celebrity Wife Swap” with Hollywood actor Gary Busey.

Why did Ted Haggard agree to do the show? It seems that he wants to help people. According to Haggard, he wants his relationship to be an example to other married couples. Haggard is coming from the perspective that basically says “if we can make it, so can you.”

A couple of years ago, Ted Haggard’s wife Gayle wrote a book called “Why I Stayed: The Choices I Made in My Darkest Hour.” The book talks about how she was able to deal with her husband and church community, and how she was able to put her life back together. This book is a good read for anyone going through difficulties in their marriage.

Haggard’s episode of celebrity wife swap will air on ABC tonight.

During a press conference on Thursday, Riva Tims, ex-wife of the deceased pastor has filed a lawsuit against New Destiny Christian Center's board. She wants an election to determine who will be the church's new pastor.

Riva Tims co-founded the church with her late ex-husband. Many believe that she has a right to succeed him as the church's pastor. 

At the press conference, Tims stated how she was unhappy with how the board handled the selection process. It is pretty clear there were definitely some questionable actions regarding how the board handled this selection. Bishop IV Hilliard's resignation from the board was the first action that began to raise concerns from many people looking at this situation from the outside. 

Apparently Riva Tims believes that the board was negligent in hiring White. A 2006 audit reveals that under White's leadership, her current church Without Walls International Church, is $26 million in debt.

There is no telling what the result of this lawsuit will be. New Destiny Christian Center finally has a new pastor. However, Paula White is now the pastor of two churches and this is not one of those one church, two locations type of scenarios.
