Church ad removed from theaters for mentioning Jesus

Compass Bible Church in Aliso Vejo, CA had its advertisement removed for mentioning the name of Jesus. The church paid $5,000 dollars to run a 30 second ad promoting its Easter service.

The ad was supposed to run for 3 weeks, but it was pulled after it was screened by National CineMedia Media Networks (NCM). The church was told that their ad could run if they agreed to remove the name of Jesus. The church refused, so NCM pulled the ad and refunded their money.

I have to applaud this church for standing firm in what they believe in. Easter exists because of Jesus. Without him nothing any of us do would be possible. I wouldn't even think of removing his name.

Take a look at this video that provides all of the details about this controversy.

Here is the actual ad that is causing the controversy.
