I’m sure you’ve seen those funny Christian videos on YouTube. Someone is either singing or preaching and the people watching are laughing. In many cases these people are serious, but it becomes funny to the rest of us. Is this wrong?
It is wrong for us to laugh at Christians that either sing or preach bad? Is there anything in the bible against laughing at people? I know that we aren’t supposed to mock God. When we laugh at these people are we laughing at them, God or both? Let me know what you think. Read more...
If you have been checking out any of the major Christian music charts, you will notice that Sanctus Real has been making a climb towards the top. The reason for this because their latest album, Pieces of A Real Heart, is really really good.
On the surface, the music is high quality. When you hear the guitar, drums and vocals, you won’t be disappointed.
I encourage you to go beyond the music and allow yourself to really hear the lyrics. They really speak to the life of someone who has spent considerable time walking with God. Certain themes like forgiveness, redemption, and allowing God to be in control of your life can be found in many of our lives. This album addresses them in such a personal and real way. Read more...
