Openly Gay Bishop Ordained by Episcopal Church

I would NEVER knowingly sit under an openly gay bishop. God says that’s an abomination of a lifestyle, so to go around parading it in His house of worship as though its okay is a slap in the face!

The word is the word, but it is difficult to receive from a source that does not truly believe everything the word says. Being “openly gay” is a complete disrespect to the word of God. If a minister was struggling with homosexuality as a sin, knowing and believing it is wrong in God’s eyes and fighting daily against their flesh to succumb to the temptation, that is a different story. Everyone has struggles and weakness because of our sin nature, but flaunting it and then calling yourself a christian leader is a big problem. That person is a shepherd leading sheep astray.

It is the signs of the times!!! There shall be many false prophets before our Savior returns. The Bible also speaks of Nations shaking…look at the quakes all around the world. There will be more trying times and signs to come…but if you stay covered and true to God, they will not prevail against you!

This whole thing has me really scratching my head. I am definitely going to keep the Episcopal church lifted in prayer. I’m not sure when Jesus will come back, but there are definitely a lot of signs that demonstrate that he IS coming back.

Why do we think it appropriate to spend so much time speaking about sexuality? Sexuality is a gift from God, plain and simple. That God has chosen to reach out and call Bishop Glasspool makes my heart soar, not because she’s gay, or because she’s female, but because she has chosen to rise above her critics and answer God’s call.

I am an Anglican Priest and would gladly and graciously serve Bishop Glasspool. Understand that God loves her and called her to be a servant of Christ. And that is exactly what she is doing.

Please, grow up and realise that she is answering God’s call, and has been affirmed by God’s people!

Sexuality is a gift from God. However, like any gift it can be used in the wrong way.

Rising above your critics is great as long as one of those critics isn’t the word of God.(Romans 1:27, leviticus 18:22)

She may indeed be a great bishop but if her life style doesn’t line up with God Word then she should be leading other people.

If a person is open about his/her sexual orientation then I feel they maybe more honest than those who lie about it or hide it. But it is the message that must be received. Do we question the sexual orientation of the people who deliver the mail to our homes. The anointing is from God, the message is from God, the vessel is an earthen vessel but the treasure inside is from God to bless the world he so loved. Judge not that you be not judge. Right or wrong only God has Grace to extend and thank God He don't have to get permission from anyone.
