BeBe Winans has been exonerated of all charges of allegations that he assaulted his ex-wife Debra Winans. On December 4, the judge dismissed all charges with prejudice. This order concluded the entire matter and it cannot be reopened.
While in some ways I am happy for BeBe, I continue to find stories like this sad. I long for the day when the words assault, ex-wife, charges, and divorce will no longer be associated with Gospel artists. In a perfect world, these words wouldn’t have much weight in our society at all. Read more...

I’m sure you know by now that the big buzz on the internet today is the unfortunate divorce of Jon and Kate Gosselin. My heart goes out to them and their family. Divorce is never a easy thing. It must be absolutely horrible when you have to go through a divorce in front of the entire world.

At the start of each new year, many people create resolutions and state their dreams and aspirations for the new year. As I think about the year ahead in gospel music, there are many things that I could hope for. I’m looking forward to buying some CDs, watching some DVDs and going to a couple of concerts. GospelCity.com is reporting that Randy and Paula White are looking to sell Without Walls International Church in Tampa, FL.
There is a part of me that is shocked and there is a part of that isn’t. Apparently, the church facilities are in a developing area in Tampa. Selling the church could prove to be profitable.
