The partnership brings together tangle.com’s average of 2.5 million unique monthly visitors and nearly a million registered users with the digital distribution leader in Christian music.  Under the agreement EMI CMG gives tangle.com users access to authorized videos and recordings, including user-generated content, of all EMI CMG and digitally distributed label artists.  Tangle.com will provide content aggregation, distribution and syndication, including ongoing promotions that will feature EMI CMG artists in highly visible positioning.

There are a ton of Christian social networks and Christian video sites. This move now clearly places tangle above them all. Tangle.com will now be able to deliver content and experiences that other sites can’t. If you are a frequent visitor to a particular Christian social networking site, I suggest you enjoy it while you can. It may be out of business within the next year. Don’t be surprised if you see other labels follow EMI’s lead.
