On July 16, 2010, The Rance Allen Group will be conducting a live CD and DVD recording at Greater Grace Temple in Detroit, MI.
The Rance Allen group started getting a lot of attention after their performance of Something About the Name Jesus on BET’s Celebration of Gospel. In addition to that, Steve Harvey started playing their music on his nationally syndicated radio show. As a result, a whole population of people got exposed to and re-introduced to the music of the Rance Allen Group.
The new CD Live will include and all-star list of Gospel greats. I don’t have names of artists yet, but I’m sure it will be a pretty interesting collection.
